UNN VC Officially Implement 5 Points Grading System
This is to inform the University community that the vice chancellor has , on behalf of the senate approved the domestication of the directive of NUC to revert to 5 points of grading system and degree classification.
To this end, the University of Nigeria is to revert to 5 points grading system with the effect from 2018/2019 academic session. In this regard, all the first semester results should reflect this change and those first semester results already marked with 'D' minimum pass mark and submitted to the examination unit, faculty, department and ICT should be withdrawn and corrected accordingly.
All the Deans of the faculty/school, head of departments/unit and academic staff of the University are to ensure strict compliance with directive of reverting of 5 points of scale with effect from 2018/2019 academic session.
