(Photos) Herdsmen flee as thunder kills 36 cows in Ondo community

Some herdsmen ran away after the 36 cows they took to nibble at the peak of Ijare people group in Ifedore Local Government Area of Ondo State without consent from the community chiefs, were purportedly struck dead by thunder strike on September 21.

The cows the herdsmen took to brush at Owa mountain which is supposedly saved for Kings, were dispersed everywhere throughout the mountain by the thunder strike.

A community source who affirmed the episode said the Fulani herders acquired the rage of their divine beings by profaning the sacrosanct section which is taboo in the town.
