Anambra begins registration of herdsmen

The Anambra State Government has started the enrollment of Fulani herders, planned for checking the farmers-herdsmen conflict in the state

Addressing newsmen on the initiation of the enrollment, Chairman of Anambra State Cattle Menace Control Committee, Igwe Peter Eze-Amama said the enlistment point was at Amansea in Awka North chamber zone.

Eze-Amama said the count procedure will help in a simple ID at whatever point there is an emergency.

He stated,  “The enumeration will assist the cattle menace control committee to fish out the bad eggs from the Fulani herdsmen in Anambra state.”

Alhaji Gidado Siddiki, South-East administrator of Miyetti Allah hailed the activity and furthermore encouraged herders to regard their host networks as erring individuals will be punished accordingly.
