FUTO Students and Road Users Stranded As Flood Washes Away Bridge In Imo (Photos)

Students of the Federal University of Technology Owerri, FUTO and other street clients has been left stranded after flood washed away scaffold in Imo state.

A video of the washed away scaffold by flood has since begun circulating around the web as FUTO students and street clients attempting to connect Obinze in Imo state were left stranded.

Stranded street users stood looking as the street kept on severing, leaving them all stranded. The "OBINZE TO FUTO ROAD" is said to have been in an awful condition for long, with the nearness of the wrecked connecting span. This episode is presently a danger to the two understudies and driver that utilization the street.

The condition of the scaffold has been decaying since the stormy season began, with inhabitants and drivers approaching the administration to fix the street. Emeka Uzoka shared a video of what the street resembled only four days before the total breakdown. He composed;

Around the same time, another street users approached the consideration of the Governor of Imo state on the condition of the street, she shared an image saying;

"As yet arguing to His Excellency, that this territory of Imo state needs critical consideration as the street which prompts Federal University of innovation FUTO Ihiagwa, the extension is very nearly collapsin. Spare the individuals of Ihiagwa"
