Armed robbers attack University of Ibadan female hostel

The Obafemi Awolowo Hall of residence (Awo) in the University of Ibadan (UI) was assaulted by armed robbers in the early long stretches of today Friday July 12.

As indicated by undergraduate of the establishment, the armed robbers who were more than 10 in number, raged the corridor around 1am and attacked for just about two hours.

The lobby watchmen were said to have done some investigation in the rooms by 11pm and when the undergraduate heard thumps on their entryways, they thought the doormen had returned and enthusiastically opened the ways to the assailants.

At any rate five undergraduate are said to have continued wounds delivered on them by the assailants while numerous contraptions including telephones and workstations were trucked away.
